Blagdon Horse Drawn Carriages are based in Somerset and provide carriages for Weddings, Anniversaries, Birthdays, Christenings, School Prom/Balls, TV and Film work, Advertising, Country Fairs, Drive Outs and Funerals. We have a wide selection of carriages all of them crafted to a very high standard. Mike and Nicky Lyons together with their two daughters take pride in providing a top class and personal service with a friendly family approach..

We have six beautiful majestic Friesians chosen for their superb temperaments, presence and elegance; all of them are extremely friendly and completely safe in the heaviest of traffic and in any situation.

Our horses welfare is paramount, they are part of the family, we believe that because of this they love and are very happy in their work.

Mike and Nicky along with their eldest daughter Becky are fully qualified through the British Driving Society to drive horses on the public highway by obtaining their Road Driving Assessment Certificates, together with holding the Transportation/Grooms Attendance Certificates. Becky has also achieved the award for the Young Drivers Scholarship in 2008 through the British Driving Society.
